CLASS NOTATION:C  Bulk Carrier ESP; CSR; BC-A (Hold 2, 4 empty); GRAB LOADING(20);  AUT-UMS; MON-SHAFT; INWATERSURVEY; VeriSTAR-HULL; Unrestricted Navigation;

The vessel constructed with double skin hull for cargo hold area, one complete continuous freeboard deck with raked stem, bulbous bow, forecastle deck, vertical transom
Stern, five (5) tiers of accommodation and a semi-balanced type rudder. Accommodation with
navigation space and machinery space located aft. Double bottom to be arranged in engine room and cargo hold area. The cargo hold area to divided by corrugated transverse bulkheads into five (5) cargo holds, and No. 3 cargo hold also serving as ballast tank.

Double bottom is divided into port and starboard tanks by one centerline pipe duct, five (5)pairs of water ballast tanks to be fitted in way of cargo hold region. All side tanks connected to the double bottom tank. Topside region in way of cargo hold area is divided into four (4) pairs of outer topside water ballast tanks and one (1) pair of fuel oil tanks. In forward region, one (1) fuel oil deep bunker tank and one fore peak tank as water ballast tank is arranged. Aft peak water ballast tanks is fitted at aft end of the vessel and one pair of fresh water tank situated above the aft peak tank.
Each cargo hatchway on upper deck provided with a weather tight folding steel hatch
cover except No. 3 cargo hold tightness suitable for ballast water hold requirement. Transverse bulkheads forming cargo holds are vertical corrugated construction with upper and lower stools.
Four (4) sets of single deck cranes are provided as shown in the General Arrangement.

The vessel is capable of loading grain cargoes to the scantling draft, within the design
limits without trimming of filled hold or bagging or the erection of special fittings. Leaving and
arriving port with part load grain cargo, water ballast may be applied to meet the grain stability
criteria during navigation. In this case trimming or bagging may be applied. During sea-going
loading condition, the requirements of International Grain Code complied with.

The vessel obtain adequate stability in all loaded conditions without the use of water
ballast except as applicable and normal for the carriage of lumber or similar cargoes and
grain cargo under part load draft conditions.

The vessel, under homogeneous loading conditions, to trim about on an even keel or slightly by the stern (trim by the stern to be max. 1.5 % of ship's length), at the designed draft in
sea water of 1.025 specific gravity including F.W., store, crew and effects and fuel oil of amount corresponding the endurance without any water ballast. In such conditions the vessel is capable of arriving at her port of discharge at an even keel or slightly by the stern (trim by the stern to be max. 2 % of ship's length) without the use of water ballast in excess of the corresponding quantity of fuel oil and fresh water consumed when fully loaded with homogeneous cargoes.

Alternate hold loading is considered and No.2, No.4 cargo holds can be empty.

The vessel is designed and built as a single screw motor driven Bulk Carrier for
unrestricted worldwide service. The vessel is to comply with the requirements for type "B" ships defined by the International Convention on Load Lines, 1966.

The vessel is to be designed, constructed and equipped so as to be capable of carrying the following cargoes:

Dry bulk and break bulk cargoes such as grain, metal concentrates, iron ore, scrap metal, coal, bauxite and sugar.(Note: Coal to be carried in all the holds which has to comply with the rule requirement. Specific gravity of iron ore: 18 CFT/LT.)

General cargoes such as steel products including hot coil, forest products, packaged
freight and palletized cargo.

Long cargoes such as pipes, bagged cement, bagged cargoes, packaged lumber and
deck cargoes.

Dangerous goods in cargo hold No.1 to No.4 and on deck.
Dangerous goods as per SOLAS II-2, Regulation 19;
For class 1 (1.4s only), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9, except following cargo:
On deck: Class 6: Poisonous (Toxic) and Infectious Substances (solids) In hold: Class 1.1-1.6: Explosives Class 5.2 Organic peroxides (Rules restriction)
-Seed Cake, b) and c), UN 1386 and 2217;
-Aluminium Ferrosilicon, UN 1395;
-Aluminium Silicon, UN 1398;
-Ferrosilicon, UN 1406;
-Zinc Ashes, UN 1435.
The vessel also to be capable of carrying dangerous cargo as per BC Code with relevant Certificates.

CARGO HATCHWAYS AND HATCH COVERS:Steel end folding type, double skin construction, hydraulically operated with grain and cement loading penings.

Nominal hatchway size is to be as follows:
Length x width
No. 1 Cargo Hold 20.00 m x 14.00 m
No. 2 Cargo Hold 20.80 m x 19.60 m
No. 3 Cargo Hold 20.80 m x 19.60 m
